IndiaWaale is a family-run Indian restaurant tucked inside Peanut Plaza on 3040 Don Mills Road East, in the heart of North York. We serve the people who actually live and work in this neighbourhood — students from Seneca College Newnham, families in Don Valley Village and Henry Farm, professionals near Fairview Mall and the DVP, late-shift workers heading home from Bayview Village, and everyone driving along Don Mills Road looking for a real desi meal at a fair price.
We're not a fancy white-tablecloth Indian restaurant. We're a busy desi street-food kitchen — the kind you'd find in Delhi, Mumbai or Lucknow. Tawas going non-stop, the tandoor glowing in the back, paneer being cubed to order, kathi rolls rolled in front of you. Everything is made fresh, in-house, the same day you eat it. Our chicken and mutton are 100% halal-certified, and most of the menu is vegetarian — many items are vegan-friendly too.

Crispy Paani Puri ($8.99) with five-flavour pani, smashed Samosa Chaat ($9.99) loaded with chole and chutneys, Papri Chaat, Dahi Bhalla, Aloo Tikki. Tangy, spicy, sweet — the way street vendors back home do it.
🌯 Kathi Rolls
Hand-rolled in flaky parathas. Butter Chicken Kathi Roll ($11.99) is our top seller, but the Paneer Kathi Roll, Chicken Seekh, and Soya Chaap rolls hold their own. Add an egg for $1.49.

Live charcoal tandoor. Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kebab — all available in classic Tandoori, creamy Malai, or minty Haryali marinades. Tandoori platters $19.99 (veg) and $21.99 (non-veg) feed two easily.

We're located inside Peanut Plaza at 3040 Don Mills Rd East, M2J 3C1 — the busy little plaza on the corner of Don Mills and Sheppard area. From Don Valley Village, Henry Farm, Fairview, Parkway Forest and North York Centre, we're a 5–10 minute drive. From Bayview Village, Willowdale, Don Mills, Flemingdon Park and Thorncliffe Park— about 10–15 minutes. Coming off the DVP or Highway 404, take the Sheppard or Don Mills exit. There's free surface parking right outside our entrance.
Closest TTC: Don Mills Station (Line 4 Sheppard subway) is about 10 minutes by bus down Don Mills Road. Bus 25 Don Mills runs right past our door.
