IndiaWaale runs an Indian street-food kitchen out of Peanut Plaza in North York — and we cater across the entire Greater Toronto Area: downtown Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Markham, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Brampton, Pickering and Ajax. We've fed everything from a 12-person office lunch in Liberty Village to a 450-guest South Asian wedding in Markham, and we treat both with the same kitchen.
The food is halal-certified, made fresh the day of the event, and built around real North Indian and Indian street-food recipes. No catering-supply pre-mixes, no "curry sauce" out of a bag, no apologetically toned-down spice. If your guests grew up eating dal in their nani's house, this is the food they're expecting.

🍚 Biryani Trays
Slow-cooked, layered, dum biryani — Hyderabadi or Kolkata style. Veg, Egg, Chicken or Mutton. Comes with raita, salad and onions. Trays in Small (5), Medium (10), Large (15) servings.
Most popular for office lunches, family parties and Eid gatherings.
🥗 Chaat Stations
Live chaat counters with paani puri, samosa chaat, papri chaat, dahi puri, aloo tikki chaat. We bring a server to assemble in front of guests — best icebreaker at sangeets and engagement parties.

🔥 Tandoor Platters
Paneer Tikka, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kebab, Soya Chaap Tikka — Tandoori, Malai or Haryali marinades. Served with mint chutney, sliced onions and lemon. Showstopping centrepiece for the appetizer table.

🍛 Hot Buffet — Curries & Breads
Pick from 25+ curries: Butter Chicken, Shahi Paneer, Dal Makhni, Kadai Paneer, Chicken Saagwala, Malai Kofta, Chicken Korma, Palak Paneer and more. Served with rice, naan or tawa roti, raita and salad in chafing dishes.

Everything is cooked the morning of the event. We deliver hot in chafing dishes, set up your buffet line, and clean up after if you've booked servers.

How much does Indian catering cost in Toronto?+
IndiaWaale party packages start at $13.99 per person (minimum 15 people) and include a full spread of dishes, rice, bread, salad and dessert. Light snack catering (samosa trays, chaat) starts around $8/person. Wedding-grade menus with tandoor platters, multiple curries and sweets run $25–$45/person. Free delivery on orders over $150 across the GTA. Pre-order required — call 647-518-0951 for a custom quote.
What sizes are your biryani trays?+
Three sizes: Small (~5 servings), Medium (~10 servings) and Large (~15 servings). Available in Veg, Egg, Chicken and Mutton biryani — Hyderabadi or Kolkata style. Served with raita and salad. Pre-order at least 24 hours in advance.
Do you provide halal catering?+
Yes — all chicken and mutton at IndiaWaale is 100% halal-certified. We're a popular choice for South Asian Muslim weddings, corporate events, and Eid gatherings across the GTA.
How much notice do you need?+
For trays and platters: 24–48 hours. For full hot-buffet weddings or corporate events with 50+ guests: at least 7 days, and 2–3 weeks for peak wedding season (June–September) or major Indian holidays. Call us as early as you can — we book up.
Do you deliver and set up the catering?+
Yes. We deliver across Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Markham, Vaughan, Mississauga, Brampton, Richmond Hill, Pickering and Ajax — and delivery is free on orders over $150. For hot-buffet events we provide chafing dishes, sterno, serving utensils and on-site setup. On-site servers are available for an additional fee.
Can you accommodate Jain, vegan or no-onion-no-garlic diets?+
Yes. We routinely cater Jain (no onion, no garlic, no root vegetables), vegan, gluten-free and customer-specific allergy menus. Tell us at the time of inquiry and we'll design the menu around it.
